Who We Are
About MLT Coding Consultants

MLT Coding Consultants is a Cape Coral–based education and audit partner that upskills your in-house coders—we don’t replace them. With 20+ years in HIM and 15+ years training coders, we deliver hands-on instruction, targeted audits, and workflow coaching that raise accuracy, reduce denials, and strengthen compliance. We train in your EHR/encoder (Epic, Cerner, 3M 360) and tailor content to your top DRGs and policies. When PHI is involved, we work under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA).

Our mission: build internal capability so your team codes confidently and your organization protects revenue integrity—without disrupting production.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you replace our coders?
No. We enhance your in-house team through training, audits, and mentorship so they code more accurately and independently.

2. Can you train in our EHR/encoder?
Yes—Epic, Cerner, 3M 360, etc. We work in your live workflows with redacted/approved cases. If PHI is involved, we operate under a signed BAA.

3. Who is a fit for the 20-Week Outpatient→Inpatient Program?
Experienced outpatient coders (or CPC-certified) ready to expand. We start with a skills assessment, then deliver foundations, DRG logic, and mentored cases, progressing to independent coding with 100% QA during ramp-up.

4. How do you schedule without hurting production?
Typical cadence: 3–4 hours/day, 3–4 days/week, remote or hybrid. We align to your work queues and top DRGs; cohorts and office hours are set to minimize disruption.

5. What results and pricing should we expect?
Expect higher accuracy, fewer denials, and stronger compliance; we report against agreed quality benchmarks. Pricing is straightforward and competitive, based on cohort size and scope. Get a tailored proposal at info@mltcoders.com or (239) 323-8725.
